1159   Error: Cannot turn on Ion gauge. Backing pressure is too high.

The vacuum pressure value from the Pirani gauge is not within the range of specified values for the Ion gauge.

The following are the probable causes.

• Faulty setting of system parameters for the Ion gauge.
• Faulty Ion gauge.
• There is a fault in the Pirani gauge (IF/BK) or the Connection PCA.
