1160   Error: HV for Ion gauge is out of range (Shutdown -> Standby).

The Ion gauge driver for the Connection PCA reads that 180V High-voltage is not supplied from the HV driver module, and the Main PCA determines that 180V High-voltage is not being supplied (When the instrument is changing from Shutdown mode to Standby mode).

This error is displayed for more than 210V or less than 150V.

The following are the probable causes.

• Faulty connections in various parts of the wiring.
• Faulty HV driver module.
• There is a fault in the Connection PCA or Main PCA.
• Faulty Power supply unit.
