1461   Error: ORS AMFC module information does not match instrument type. Check ORS AMFC cable or replace ORS AMFC.

The firmware checks AMFC module information at EEPROM of the AMFC. It should be 0xFFFF (AMFC for Agilent ICP-MS). This error occurs If the module information from AMFC does not match for the following issues.

• Disconnected, poorly connected or malfunctioning cable.
• Fault in the ORS AMFC module.
