[AVS System Test configuration] dialog box

Run a System Test to see if AVS is working properly.

Available when using Agilent tubing kits and Easy-fit loops.

Before running the System Test, set the vials containing the following solutions.

• Blank solution

  ICP-MS Checkout Solution for 5185-5850 System Installation Kit

• Tune solution

  5185-5959 ICP-MS 1 ppb Tune Solution

[Hardware configuration]

[Loop size (mL)]

Select the Loop size (mL) you want to use.

[Tubing Length between Autosampler and Inlet (cm)]

Enter the tubing length.

[Test configuration]

[Vial (Blank)]

Select the blank vial.

[Vial (1 ppb Tune Solution)]

Select the tune vial.

[Run]

Click [OK] on the confirmation message to display the [Save Batch As] dialog box. Enter a batch name, click [Create], and then click [Run] in the [Batch Run Requested] dialog box to start the system test batch acquisition.

After system test completion, a System Test Report is exported to “C:\Agilent\ICPMH\1\SampleIntroductionSystemTestReport\” and the System Test Report is displayed by Notepad. Pass or Fail is indicated in the System Test Report along with troubleshooting advice if the test failed. You can view details of the results of each test in Data Analysis.

[Cancel]

Aborts the system test and closes the dialog box.
