In some cases, you may need to do acquisitions of some elements among the target elements specified in a batch. In that case, you can use "sublist" to acquire only the elements of interest. Configures the sublist of the acquisition masses in the [Sublist] Column on the Sample List Pane (Sequence). Note however that you can only select masses that are contained in the acquisition method.
When you select a tuning mode for which [MS/MS] is specified as the [Scan Type], you can set the masses for Q1 (2-260) and Q2 (2-275).
Scan Type
Select a scan type.
[MS/MS]: Does an MS/MS scan. The [Q1] and [Q2] columns are displayed on the Total Acquired Elements table and masses are displayed in each column.
[Single Quad]: Does a Single Quad scan.
Sublist Name
Displays the sublist names. To edit them, click the [Edit] button.
[Edit]
The [Edit Sublist Names] dialog box appears, which lets you add or remove sublists or change the names.
Periodic Table
When you click an element name, the isotope masses and isotope ratios for the element are displayed in the Mass table below. Note that you cannot select the masses in this mass table, which is only for displaying the masses and related data.
Total Acquired Elements table
Displays the selected elements.
When [MS/MS] is selected for [Scan Type], the [Q1] and [Q2] columns are displayed and masses can be set for each column.
To add an element to the sublist, mark [Acq].
[Select All]
Selects all elements in the Total Acquired Elements table.
[Unselect All]
Unselects all elements in the Total Acquired Elements table.
[Go to Mass Scale]
The Mass Scale table appears. Click [Go to Periodic Table] on the Mass Scale table to display the periodic table.
<Element Information>
The [Ion Database] dialog box appears, which lets you view information for the element.
[OK]
Applies the settings.
[Cancel]
Cancels the settings.
