[Precursor/Product Ion Scan] dialog box

The Precursor/Product Ion Scan can be performed when the scan type is MS/MS.

Precursor Ion Scan

Select this radio button to perform the Precursor Ion Scan.

Product Ion Scan

Select this radio button to perform the Product Ion Scan.

Mass Setting

Set the mass to be scanned.

You can set the mass by entering a numerical value in each text box or by using the sliders.

<Start>

Starts the Ion Scan.

<Cancel>

Closes the dialog box without performing the Ion Scan.

To Get Here

• Right-click and select [Advanced] - [Precursor/Product Ion Scan] from the context menu in the Tune Modes Pane.

• Right-click and select [Advanced] - [Precursor/Product Ion Scan] from the context menu in the User Tune Pane.
