Specify the check criteria for tuning (the tolerance for sensitivity, mass calibration and %RSD).
Tune Check Type
Select either [General] or [EPA method]. When [EPA method] is selected, the acquisition is performed at 20 point/mass and 0.1 sec/point.
The following tune check report templates are used.
If [General] is selected:TuneCheck.tune.acrtTuneCheck_ICPQQQ.tune.acrt
If [EPA method] is selected:TuneCheck_US-EPA.tune.acrt
Replicate
This item is enabled when [EPA method] is selected. Sets the number of times to repeat the acquisition.
[Tune Mode] Tab
Select a tune mode for the check criteria.
Click on this tab to copy the tune check parameters to another tune mode.
Sensitivity Check
To perform the sensitivity check, you need to select [Sensitivity] on the [Generate Tune Report] dialog box.
[Reference] column
From the column, select only one mass to use to determine the response ratio of another element, and then select the check box.
[Mass] Column
Displays the masses to acquire. The masses can be set in the [Generate Tune Report] dialog box.
[Min.Resp(cps/µg/l)]
Enter the minimum response.
[Conc.(µg/l)]
Enter the concentration of the tuning solution.
[Resp Ratio Low Lmt] column
Sets the lower limit for the response ratio criteria. The value for the element whose mode is [Reference] is set to 1.00 and cannot be changed.
[Resp Ratio High Lmt] column
Sets the upper limit for the response ratio criteria. The value for the element whose mode is [Reference] is set to 1.00 and cannot be changed.
[Max. %RSD] column
Sets the maximum value for the signal RSD.
Resolution/Axis Check
To perform the Resolution/Axis check, you need to select [Resolution/Axis] on the [Generate Tune Report] dialog box.
[Mass] Column
Displays the masses to be acquired. The masses can be set in the [Generate Tune Report] dialog box.
[Mass Cal Low Lmt] column
Sets the lower limit for mass calibration criteria.
[Mass Cal High Lmt] column
Sets the upper limit for mass calibration criteria.
[Max. Width(cps)] column
Sets the maximum value for the peak width criteria.
Background Check
To perform the background check, you need to select [Background] on the [Generate Tune Report] dialog box.
[Mass] Column
Displays the masses to acquire. The masses can be set in the [Generate Tune Report] dialog box.
[Max Bkg Count(cps)] column
Sets the maximum count for the background signal for the mass for which Bkg is selected as a mode.
Adopt exact mass
Although normally ICP-MSICP-QQQ uses a value that is corrected by a mass defect correction, check this item to use an uncorrected mass (exact mass) for the signal.
Peak width at height
Set the height in percentage to use to calculate the peak width.
[OK]
Applies the settings.
[Cancel]
Cancels the settings.
