FullQuant Outlier Setup pane

Sets the conditions that are used to determine outliers when FullQuant Analysis is selected in the Data Analysis Method table.

Method Toolbar

 

   Drag to move the toolbar.

   Displays the settings for the previous basic method task.

 [Edit QC Level Caption] dialog box will be displayed. Set the QC level captions.

Context Menu

This section describes the commands that are available in the context menu. The commands that are not listed below have the same function as their counterparts on the toolbars and the Ribbon.

[Export Table]

Opens the [Export Table] (Entire Table) dialog box where you can export the entire table. This command is available when a pane that includes a table is selected.

[Export Selected Area]

Opens the [Export Table] (Area) dialog box where you can export the data selected in the table. This command is available when a range of cells in the table is selected.

[Copy]

Copies the selected data to the Clipboard. When a tabular pane is selected, the selected row/column is copied.

[Paste]

Pastes the data copied with the Copy command.

[Page Setup]

Opens the [Page Setup] dialog box where you can configure the page settings for printing.

[Print]

Opens the [Print] dialog box where you can print the contents of the selected pane.

[Print Preview]

Opens the [Print Preview] dialog box where you can display the print preview.

Outlier Setup Table

Sets the conditions that are used to determine outliers.

Outlier

Displays the Outlier type.

• Calibration Curve Fit R

  Outlier in the correlation coefficient of the calibration curve

• Relative Standard Error (%)

  Outlier in the Relative Standard Error (%) of the calibration curve

• Relative Error (%)

  Outlier in the Relative Error (%) of the calibration curve

• ISTD Recovery % [compared with CalBlk]

  Outlier for ISTD recovery by comparison with CalBlk

• Spike Recovery % [compared with SpikeRef]

  Outlier for Spike recovery by comparison with SpikeRef

• QC Sample Conc Stability % [use 'QC1' Sample]

  Outlier for the QC sample concentration stability of the QC1 sample

• QC Sample Conc Stability % [use 'QC2' Sample]

  Outlier for the QC sample concentration stability of the QC2 sample

• QC Sample Conc Stability % [use 'QC3' Sample]

  Outlier for the QC sample concentration stability of the QC3 sample

• QC Sample Conc Stability % [use 'QC4' Sample]

  Outlier for the QC sample concentration stability of the QC4 sample

• QC Sample Conc Stability % [use 'QC5' Sample]

  Outlier for the QC sample concentration stability of the QC5 sample

• Count RSD %

  Outlier for the count RSD % (relative standard deviation). For the reference, select [Check Always] or enter a cps value directly.

• Blank Conc Level % [use 'BlkVrfy' Sample]

  Outlier for the blank concentration stability of the blank sample

• Out of Calibration Curve Concentration Range %

  Outlier outside the concentration range of the calibration curve

Minimum Value

Select the minimum value to be determined as an Outlier

Maximum Value

Select the maximum value to be determined as an Outlier

Reference

Displays the reference sample type for Outlier judgment. Input the count (cps) for CountRSD

Error Action

An action can be set when an outlier occurs during measurement.

 

The terms "AOF", "Action on Failure", and "Action Failure" have been changed to "Error Action" in MassHunter 4.4.

 

• Ignore and Continue

  No actions will be made even if an outlier occurs (default).

• Abort

  Stop the sequence

• Run Blank and Continue

  Analyze the next sample after analyzing a [BLANK] block. (Continue the sequence even if the blank fails.)

• Recalibrate and Continue

  Analyze the same sample after regenerating [CALIB]. (Stop the sequence for the second error.)

• Dilute and Re-Run

  When using prepFAST as an autosampler or ADS 2 as a sample introduction, you can select this as the outlier for [ISTD Recovery %] and [Out of Calibration Curve Concentration Range %]. If a sample analysis fails, the sample is diluted and analyzed again. If the sample is reanalyzed twice and the third analysis fails, the next sample is analyzed.

• When [FullQuant Analysis] is set to On and [Intelligent Sequence] is set to Off in the [Data Analysis Method] table, click [QC Setup] from the [Advanced Info] group in the Method Development Tasks pane.
