Select meters to display in the Instrument Status Pane. You can select up to 5 meters. The values of these meters are displayed and updated during acquisition.

Vacuum

[IF/BK Press]

Pressure of the Backing Rough Pump just ahead of the turbo pump.

[Analyzer Press]

Pressure of the analyzer chamber.

[TMP Revolution]

This item indicates the percentage of the current rotation speed against the maximum rotation speed of the turbo pump for the analyzer chamber.

[TMP1 Revolution]

This item displays the percentage of the current rotation speed compared to the maximum rotation speed of the turbo pump 1 for the analyzer chamber.

[TMP2 Revolution]

This item displays the percentage of the current rotation speed compared to the maximum rotation speed of the turbomolecular pump 2 for the analyzer chamber.

Water

[Water RF/WC/IF]

The flow rate of the cooling water that is used to cool the induction coil and interface area.

[Water Temperature]

The cooling water temperature at the inlet.

Housing

[Inlet Temp]

Inlet temperature.

[Exhaust Temp]

Exhaust temperature.

Plasma RF

[Forward Power]

Power supplied at the RF Coil.

[Reflected Power]

Power reflected from RF Coil.

[Plasma Freq]

Plasma frequency.

AVS

AVS Pump Speed

Pump speed of the AVS.

Valve Position

Valve position (Load/Injection) of the 6-port valve of the AVS.

Tune/ISTD Valve

The injecting solution of the 3-way valve.

Gas

[Nebulizer Gas (BP)]

Nebulizer Gas (also called carrier gas) pressure (gauge pressure) at the nebulizer.

[OP Gas Press]

Optional gas pressure (gauge pressure).

[Ar Gas Tank Press]

The Ar supply pressure (gauge pressure) to this instrument.

[Nebulizer Gas]

Flow rate of the nebulizer gas (also called carrier gas).

[Mu./Dil. Gas]

Flow rate of the makeup/dilution gas.

[Optional Gas]

Flow rate of the optional gas.

It is possible to use optional gas only when the instrument is equipped with the optional gas line. The appropriate values of the pressure and flow rate of the optional gas depend on the intended purpose of the optional gas.

[Plasma Gas]

Flow rate of the plasma gas.

[Aux Gas]

Flow rate of the auxiliary gas.

Reaction Cell

[H2 Gas]

Flow rate of the H2 gas for the cell. (This setting can only be made if the instrument has an H2 gas line.)

[He Gas]

Flow rate of the He gas for the cell.

[3rd Cell Gas]

Flow rate of the 3rd gas for the cell. (This setting cannot be made unless the instrument is equipped with the optional gas line.)

[4th Cell Gas]

Flow rate of the 4th gas for the cell.

 

3rd Cell Gas: Helium content of gas mix must be 90% or more; For example: NH3/He mix, He content must be equal to or greater than 90%; Even if introducing a non-corrosive non-flammable gas to the 3rd cell, it still must be diluted with 90% or more Helium.

4th Cell Gas: Use only non-flammable non-corrosive gas.
