[AVS]
Select if you are using the AVS for data acquisition.
[Agilent LC]
Agilent LC is used as the sample introduction.
Select this menu item when using the Infinity II LC module.
Also, the remote shutdown is set to ON. When the plasma goes out and the ICP-MSICP-QQQ is in Standby mode or if there is any hardware error on the ICP-MSICP-QQQ, a shutdown command is sent to the LC.
In addition, if a hardware error occurs on the LC, a shutdown command is sent to the instrument, which switches the instrument from Analysis Mode to Standby mode.
If this item is selected when no IP address for Agilent LC is set, the [Auto Config] dialog box is displayed. Once an IP address is set, the configuration table for each module and an illustration of Agilent LC are displayed in the Dashboard Pane.
When you set Agilent LC as the sample introduction, be sure to click [Update Module] on the configuration table in the Dashboard Pane. This needs to be performed to set the information for Agilent LC to MassHunter. You may not be able to run other tasks until the module update completes.
If you replace it with another sample introduction after you set Agilent LC as the sample introduction, be sure to remove the APG remote cable from the instrument.
[Agilent GC]
Agilent GC is used as the sample introduction.
The spray chamber cooling function is set to OFF.
If this item is selected when no IP address for Agilent GC is set, the [Auto Config] dialog box is displayed. Once an IP address is set, the configuration table for each module and an illustration of Agilent GC are displayed in the Dashboard Pane.
Before connecting the Agilent GC, run the batch file (\G7201D\GCSettings.bat) in the ICP-MS MassHunter Workstation System Disc.
When you set Agilent GC as the sample introduction, be sure to click [Update Module] on the configuration table in the Dashboard Pane. This needs to be performed to set the information for Agilent GC to MassHunter. You may not be able to run other tasks until the module update completes.
If you replace it with another sample introduction after you set Agilent GC as the sample introduction, be sure to remove the APG remote cable from the instrument.
The GC functions [Skip to the next sample] and [Pause for user interaction] are not available when using GC-ICP-MS.
[LA]
Laser Ablation is used as the sample introduction.
An external remote signal can be used to start acquisition. You can specify whether or not to use a remote signal in the [Remote Signal Setting] dialog box. You can display this by right-clicking the [Sample Introduction] illustration in the Dashboard Pane, and then selecting [Remote Signal Setting] from the context menu.
The spray chamber cooling function is set to OFF.
[Other]
You can use an external remote signal to start the acquisition when using a sample introduction other than the one listed.
When the sample introduction is set to [Agilent LC], [Agilent GC], or [LA], Startup, hardware settings, and preset methods cannot be used for the Standard Tune. When you adjust the instrument, use the User Tune. For more information, refer to the User Tune Pane.
[ADS 2]
ADS 2 is used as the sample introduction.
[Nebulizer]

To use a nebulizer other than [MicroMist], [Mira Mist], [Micro Flow(200)], or [Micro Flow(20-50)], select [Other]. Note however that if you select [Other], you cannot perform a nebulizer test and plasma correction.
When Ion Lenses is [x-Lens], use [MicroMist] or [Mira Mist]. When it is [s-Lens], use [MicroMist] or [Micro Flow(200)]. When it is [m-Lens], use [Micro Flow(200)]. For combinations other than the above, the plasma correction cannot be performed.
Post PeriPump Rotation
If the peripump is stopped for a long time, the pump tubing may be damaged. To avoid this damage, when the plasma is OFF, the peripump can be rotated periodically.
Mark this check box to enable the periodical peripump rotation. Clear the check box to disable the function.
SC Cooling
This allows the customers who use 3rd party spraychambers, for example the ESI cyclone or Niagara Seaspray, to use Agilent PeriPump etc but not Agilent spraychamber. Even if they disconnect Agilent peltier cooler with using this function, they don't get an error message. The default value is on. And if this check is off, SC Cooling is not done.
