[Set Communication] dialog box

Configure the settings for communication.

ICP-MS

[Online]

Select this item to transfer data between MassHunter Workstation and the instrument via the LAN, and set [Host Name] or [IP Address].

[Offline]

Select this item to use MassHunter Workstation without transferring data between MassHunter Workstation and the instrument.

Check Firmware Version

If this check box is marked, then the firmware version of this instrument is checked when the system starts up. If the firmware version is not the latest, the latest firmware is downloaded.

[OK]

Applies the settings.

[Cancel]

Cancels the settings.

To Get Here

• Click and select [Communication] from the context menu on [Mainframe] in the Dashboard Pane.
• Click and select [Properties] from the context menu on [Mainframe] in the Dashboard Pane, and then click [Edit] in [Communication].
• From the [Settings] dialog box, go to [System] - [Hardware] - [Mainframe] -[Communication] and click on [Edit].
