Editing Report Templates

The analysis result reports can be printed by using the following report templates.

• Excel report templates (*.xltx, *.xltm)
• Report Templates (*.analysis.acrt) created in the Report Designer

And tune reports, or tune check reports can be printed by using the following report templates.

• Report Templates (*.tune.acrt) created in the Report Designer

  However, you can select the Excel Report Template only when the Excel is installed.

Generic analysis results reports can be printed by using the predefined report templates. You can also customize the report templates.

The report templates can be changed easily. For example, you can change the layout or include your company logo.

 

You can find Report Templates for analysis results reports in the Report Template folder in the batch folder. They are also contained in the batch template when saving a batch as a template. They are also copied when importing from an existing batch or creating a batch using an existing batch.

 

To Customize an Analysis Result Report

To create a custom template of an analysis result report by the Report Designer, follow these steps:

1. Click [Settings] from the [Settings] group on the [Tools] tab in the Data Analysis window.

   The [Settings] dialog box appears.

2. Click [Open Designer] from the [Reporting] category.

   Start the Report Designer software.

3. To create a new template from an existing report template, select [File] - [Open] from the menu bar, and then select the template.

   After creating a new template from a blank template, you can then edit the template.

4. Select [File] - [Save As], and then save the report template.

To Customize a tune report

To create a custom template of a tune report, a tune check report, a performance report, and so on using the Report Designer, follow these steps:

1. Click the [Settings] from the [Settings] group on the [Tools] tab in the ICP-MS Instrument Control window.

   The [Settings] dialog box appears.

2. Click [Open Designer] from the [Reporting] category.

   Start the Report Designer software.

3. To create a new template from an existing report template, select [File] - [Open] from the menu bar, and then select the template.

   After creating a new template from a blank template, you can then edit the template.

4. Select [File] - [Save As], and then save the report template.

 

You can generate reports for all tune parameters displayed on the Tune Modes Pane screen.
